Sleep? What’s that?

I don’t have all the answers when it comes to sleep. But studies do show that 13 hours of sleep per day is healthy for 18 months old. At this age, most toddlers have given up a second nap and nap only once a day. This nap, hopefully, should be 1-3 hours. Don’t be alarmed if your baby does not follow this to a tee. All children have different sleep habits.

I have always offered my son a very structure/scheduled day. It is proven that children thrive with a daily set routine. We have such a set schedule that my son now asks me to take a nap when that time of day rolls around.
There are many age appropriate example schedules on line that may fit your day!

And of course, always open to suggestions from other parents in regard to “toddler issues”!

Moral of this blog? STOCK UP ON A LOT OF COFFEE AND UNDER EYE CONCEALER and remember they are only little once. There will come a day that we miss waking up with them at night…. I think
